Save the Date

So I have been struggling with whether or not we "need" save the dates. And if we do "need" them, how we can spend as little money as possible sending them out. It is a destination wedding of sorts and guests are going to have to book a hotel room so advance notice is nice. But save the dates can get expensive especially when you consider postage. So I began thinking about sending email save the dates, and in my search for ideas I found the newest craze sweeping the internets, stop animation video save the dates! How adorable is that. The usual concerns still abound with sending any sort of internet save the date. My biggest fear is guests innocently forwarding our save the date to uninvited guests who perceive the forwarded save the date as coming from us. yikes! That would be incredibly awkward and not fun at all.
